FAQs

When should I book? How far in advance?

For booking it really depends! If you have a certain date in mind I definitely recommend booking at least 3 months in advance. My busy season tends to be February-May so if you’re hoping to work with me during that time I would book early or at least inquire ahead of time.

If you want to shoot outside of the busy season it’s always best to book early but I’ll probably be able to squeeze you in somewhere :)

How should I prepare for my session?

There’s no right way to prepare for your session but I always say, do what makes you feel best!

Choose outfits, makeup, and hair that suits your personal style. Going a little heavier with makeup or doing a light self-tan might make your feel a bit more confident but I always suggest doing a trial before our session if you’re going for a look you aren’t always used to.

What happens if the weather is bad the day of our session?

If the weather is bad the day of our session don’t worry! Sometimes it can be fun to play into the vibes of a windy or rainy day but if the weather is too bad and risks ruining the session we can always reschedule. No extra fees.

Can I choose all the images I’m receiving?

I do not allow my clients to select their final images. When hiring me I ask that you put trust in me as the artist to pick and deliver the best images. I will however provide a few samples to you before completing your gallery. This is your opportunity to give me feedback and let me know your thoughts. Don’t be afraid to be honest!

How long after my session will I receive my images?

Typically my turnaround time is 2 weeks. You’ll receive samples within the first week and then please allow me an extra week to finish the gallery.

Sometimes during the busy season my turnaround time can reach 2.5 weeks but if that’s the case I will always contact you prior to let you know. Wedding turnaround times may differ.

What if I need my photos sooner?

There’s no guarantee I can deliver your images sooner than my estimated turnaround time so if you know you have a deadline please plan accordingly. However, if it’s urgent, I can usually get a couple rush images to you. Please let me know this information as soon as possible so I can let you know if I’m able to fulfill the request or not.
